Your days

Day 1: Arrive

Met at Cape Town International Airport and driven to your hotel. A gentle afternoon at the V&A Waterfront.

Day 2: Table Mountain

The cableway and the summit’s universal access walkway, then the Sea Point promenade. The day moves if the cableway closes for wind.

Day 3: The peninsula

Boulders Beach penguins from the boardwalks, lunch by the sea and the Flying Dutchman funicular at Cape Point.

Day 4: Gardens and wine

Kirstenbosch in the morning and a tasting at Groot Constantia in the afternoon.

Day 5: Home

Free morning, or Robben Island if access suits you, then the airport.

Where you stay

  • Nights 1–4 · a Waterfront or city hotel with a measured accessible room (roll-in shower on request) · bed and breakfast

As listed or similar, subject to availability and to a measured accessible room.

Best time to go

November–March is warm and dry, with strong winds on some days; April–May and September–October are mild and quieter. June–August is the rainy season.

Good to know

  • Table Mountain: Staff help at the ticket office and at the lifts. Not every part of the summit is accessible: some paths are steep, uneven or stepped.
  • Boulders and Cape Point: ramped boardwalks, accessible toilets and a funicular gate for wheelchair users; the lighthouse at the top has steps.
  • Kirstenbosch: the lower lawns and gardens are step-free; the upper slopes are steep.
  • Robben Island is only partly accessible; see the Robben Island experience for details.
  • Vehicles: a step-free vehicle with a South African partner, confirmed before booking.

Access details checked in October 2026 against: Table Mountain Aerial Cableway: wheelchair access · ATTA: Table Mountain universal access walkway (April 2026) · Cape Town Tourism: wheelchair-friendly attractions · Rolling Inspiration: Boulders Beach. Facilities change, so we reconfirm every detail for your dates before booking.
